I was very sorry to hear about the situation of the company Bekinox NV.

As many companies in Belgium will know, Bekinox was the exclusive representative of Eme in Belgium.

Although I am the Export Manager for Eme Posaterie Srl, Belgium was one of the few geographic areas that did not come under my commercial jurisdiction.

A Cocktail To Celebrate 2016

Happy New Year to One and All.

Lets hope that you New Year will bring us PEACE and Happiness.

For those that feel adventurous, find below a cocktail to try.

I must confess that I have not tried it myself, but is was a recipe given to me by my Grand Father.

The Cocktail is called: LITTLE DEVIL COCKTAIL. Perhaps its name gives a slight hint to its potency.

The cocktail consists of:

1/6 Lemon Juice

1/6 Cointreau

1/3 Bacardi Rum

1/3 Gin.

Shake well and strain into a cocktail glass.

If this cocktail seems too strong for you, why not try GIN FIZZ:

1 teaspoonful of sugar (or clear honey)

The juice of 1 lemon

1 glass (small) of Gin.

Shake well, strain into medium sized glass, and fill with sparkling water to taste.

A fine start to the New Year!

The fair has concluded with success; especially with the assistance of Chef Francesca Marsetti (as seen on the featured image), who did an excellent job in demonstrating the advantages of the new GIRAVOLTA system (please see below).

As with every two years, we will be once again exhibiting at the Host Trade Fair 2015 in Milan.

We will have plenty of new products on display, and hope that we will have the pleasure of meeting new and old clients.

I (John L. Aldridge – Export Manager) will be present at the Fair with all the Team Eme, ready to ask any questions that you may have.

Just a suggestion. While visiting Host, why not take the opportunity of also visiting Expo 2015?

As somebody that has already visited Expo, I would certainly suggest a nocturnal visit. The Tree of Life is truly magnificent.

An Update of What is Happening at Eme

Eme Posaterie Srl is always looking forward to the future.

Our goal is always to improve our quality, our production levels, and above all our service to our clients.

If we can reduce by just 1 minute the time that is dedicated by our clients in solving a problem, then we consider that we are on the right path.

The quantity of correspondence between client and supplier is normally inversely proportional to the ability of the supplier to meet their clients requirements. This means that a client that has to spend an abnormal amount of time communicating with a supply, is unable to use their time efficiently for more creative applications, that would enhance the advancement of their own company.

Obviously, we at Eme are not perfect, we also have the occasional client problem to solve. The difference is that we work hard to find a solution quickly. We do not brush the problem under the carpet, waiting for it to go away by itself.

With the continuous investment made by Eme Posaterie Srl , means that we are able to reduce our lead times. Our average delivery time is now down to only 10 days; which even puts our Chinese competitors to shame.

How can Eme offer such service without reducing quality? The answer is simple. Eme has invested heavily in high-tech machinery. One of our latest acquisitions is a “Spider” machine. This machine was first used in the food industry for automating quality control. Eme has used the same concept for the quality control of our production of cutlery. Any cutlery piece that is scanned and does not respect the parameters set, is rejected.

Progress is movement, and Eme Posaterie Srl is a mover.

When a Company is making head way in creating an International Brand Name, as with Eme Posaterie, it often happens that other companies try to find links to such companies that give the unintentional or intentional impression that they are some how connected to that company.

The Company Gammasteel Srl,  that sells under the name of Domus&Design, was once part of Eme Posaterie Srl, but for many years has become a fully independent company; a totally separate entity, financially and commercially, from Eme. We have also been informed that certain distributors are informing their clients that Eme and Gammasteel/D&D are still part of the same group. THIS IS FALSE!

There still exists good family connections between D&D and Eme, but each company is navigating along separate highways.

It must be stressed that when the division of the two companies occurred, all the production facilities remained with Eme. This is important, because as we can control the various production stages of our products, we can also fully guarantee the quality of our products.

All our products come with full laboratory certification, and fully respect the stringent International and EU laws governing Health and Food.

I would just like to take the opportunity in thanking all the visitors to our stand, and a very special thanks to Mr. Arvind Shah of Arvin Group for making it all possible.

Mr Arvind Shah, is already preparing for the NRA Show Chicago 2015 Trade Fair in May 2015.

This will be an exciting moment for our Company, as we will be showing America that “Made in Italy” can be better and cheaper that “Made in China”.

Tesco’s sell similar product to our Vero

It is the nature of business that once a product becomes a success, everybody tries to find a facsimile version, even a giant like Tesco’s.

Below are two photo’s; one is VERO that is produced by Eme, and the other is that offered by Tesco’s (not made by Eme).

VERO is being sold throughout Europe and America.

VERO is 100% Made in Italy.

VERO is made from 2mm certified stainless steel.

VERO comes with a full set of laboratory tests (your health is important to us).

I am a consumer and if I were interested in buying the Tesco’s product, I would certainly want to ask Tesco’s the following questions:

TESCO’s – Where was the product made? Because I cannot find the place of manufacture on your online product specification – Viewed by writer on 25th July 2014.

TESCO’s – What is the thickness of the stainless steel? Because I cannot find this information on your online product specification – Viewed by writer on 25th July 2014.

TESCO’s – What is the type of steel used? Because I cannot find this information on your online product specification – Viewed by writer on 25th July 2014.

These are simple questions that everybody has the right to know.

I cannot understand why Tesco’s (like many large supermarket chains) believe that they can only obtain price and quality from the Far East.

Eme has a daily production of  250,000pcs. Our delivery time has an average of 10days, and we even sell to China!

Come on Tesco’s, give us a call. Perhaps we can work together.
